A Minecraft launcher that doesn’t eat your RAM in the background
RedLauncher for Windows. Sign in with Microsoft, pick a version or instance, and play. It uses far less background RAM than the official launcher, so Minecraft gets more.
If Windows SmartScreen appears, click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Common for new apps.

FAQ
FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. You need a normal Minecraft account (Microsoft).
Is this the official Mojang launcher?
No. Not affiliated with Mojang / Microsoft, just our app.
Is RedLauncher safe for Microsoft accounts?
We use official Microsoft login (same flow as the official launcher). We don’t ask you to paste tokens.
Why does the official launcher use so much RAM?
It’s a heavy Electron-style app. RedLauncher is built to stay light in the background so more RAM stays for the game.
What versions work?
Regular release builds. You choose the version in the launcher or instance.
Why does SmartScreen warn me?
Because we’re new and Windows doesn’t “know” us yet. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Why does it ask to update?
When an update is required, older builds ask for the new installer, so everything stays compatible.
Where do the FPS / RAM numbers come from?
Test on i5-11300H, 16 GB RAM, RTX 3050 Laptop. Official idle ~300+ MB, RedLauncher ~70-80 MB. In-game (VSync off, 16 chunks) ~40-50 vs 100-140 FPS. One machine, not a promise for everyone.
How do I play with friends on name.redlauncher.com?
1. Create a server (short name, max 16 chars) and click Start.
2. Copy moja-nazwa.redlauncher.com, with no port.
3. Friends join that address in Multiplayer. You use localhost.
Server on your PC, friends join through our tunnel, no UPnP, no router tweaking.
Do I need UPnP / open ports?
No, with tunnel mode (default on redlauncher.com) you don’t. Just Start and share the address.
